Beginner Tahitian is a free Android app developed by shotgun.experiments under the category of Education & Reference. This app is designed as a simple and direct introduction to the Tahitian language for beginners and enthusiasts.
The app follows the concept of 'a word a day' and provides up to 12 words per day of the user's choice. The app repeatedly tests the words learned on a decreasing regularity basis, and if answered correctly, the app adjusts to test the user less frequently, as they gain familiarity with the word. If the user answers incorrectly, the app will adjust to test them more on that word or deactivate it, while they learn other words in the meantime.
With almost a thousand common and popular Tahitian words available in the app, users can pace themselves as they learn the language. Within a few weeks, users can have an essential knowledge of Tahitian vocabulary!
